Cruised onboard fantasia departing from Abu Dhabi on the 19/03/2017 My honest advise would be don't go it really is as bad as all the other reviews. We decided to try MSC as we liked the itinerary and the price was very competitive compared to the other cruise lines. We have been on many other cruises with RC and Celebrity and can honestly say your better off to pay more !! The food is really awful particularly in the formal restaurant, the staff are miserable and rude, the organisation is unbelievable. The weather was particularly bad when we were there and there were changes to the itinerary which meant we were at sea on days we were meant to be on excursions it was chaotic. Whilst in Dubai it was very heavy rain so we thought we would use the indoor pool however it was closed for refurbishment and the smell of the wet paint was everywhere, there were no theatre productions on either for the last 2 days which left very little to do. I would have thought they would have gone out of there way to provide some sort of entertainment as the weather was so bad but they seem to be more bothered about getting the ship ready for the next cruise rather than keeping those onboard happy. On the last night it was announced that the ship would not be sailing to Abu Dhabi and we were to be transferred by bus to the airport. After standing in a queue at guest relations for nearly 2 hours we were told to be in the theatre for 4am, we set the alarm and when it went off my husband went to get a coffee, outside the cabin door was a letter to say we needed to be in the theatre for 3.30am which left us just enough time to get off the ship and catch the bus. So even though we stood for 2 hours at guest relations we were still given the wrong information which could have resulted in us missing the coach. This really sums up the chaotic organisation I dread to think what it would be like if there was an emergency!!! So in summary please don't waste your money it was a nightmare.
