We booked Diamond for its itinerary, and it was an 8-day round trip cruise from Singapore to Phuket, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh. It was perfect with a few sea days enough for rest and relaxation.

Embarkation was terrible! Singapore immigration was terribly slow and all cruisers had a long wait at the lounge and it was really terrible, we were cold and hungry and my snack ran out before another hour of waiting, felt like a refugee. Once we were on board we were rushed to the muster's station for a drill and we were really exhausted, hungry and tired, some elderly dozed off, poor them.

After all that, our holiday began. What's good on Diamond or Princess still, is dining at Horizon Court buffet. As it's a 'Japanese ship' so they have natto, rice, miso soup and noodle everyday. There's no International Cafe and no sit-down pizza restaurant. So all munching is at deck 14. However, this depends on preference, noticed some Asians do not fancy food on Princess too much and they brought their own instant-noodle in a cup.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

We had a mini suite and it was the worst sailing with Princess a few times. The door was not working well, and TV too, it was really tough switching on the TV. Room was rather warm and air cond not working well. Otherwise, it was fine, still bearable but not good, since we had a discount, so it's fair enough.
