We usually take vacation later in the year, but decided to try one during warmer months.
Embarkation and disembarkation were fairly smooth as we required wheelchair assistance. Cruise terminal in NYC seems small because of the sheer volume of people moving through it. Everyone was very helpful and accomodating. Although I really wish they would give you the health form before you get in line as its hard to write on someone's back...
I knew the Breakaway was going to be big, but it was truly huge. Having been on the Gem last fall, I now know that smaller is better, at least for me.
Cabin was very roomy and clean. Loved the idea of having to take your key card with you to turn off the lights.
