This cruise was for a family reunion trip and was chosen by the whole group. We chose to sail out of California because this way the family could save on airline expenses.

The ship at first glance was nice, but the customer service was horrible. On other cruise lines, I'm used to being greeted or at least acknowledged by various crew members, but on this cruise many staff would walk by and just keep their heads down as to not be bothered by you. I was also shocked when I took my son and niece to the childrens center and were turned away because they had to close the doors. Mind you, we were one of the last 3 kids in line to enter, but they shut the door in our faces. My son and niece were extremely upset and disappointed because they had been looking forward to going on the treasure hunt for that evening.

Another disappointment was the picture area. Our family had taken many pictures and could not wait to purchase some of the shots. When we went down to see them, we took our time choosing the best shots and made our order, only to come back later and find out that all the printers were down and would not be fixed the remainder of the trip. Therefore the only way to get pictures was to purchase a flash drive with no less than 20 shots. What if we didn't want 20 shots?!? It didn't matter, there was no other choice.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Our cabin was decent and clean. We only had one day when the toilets were backed up for a couple of hours.
