We chose this ship because the dates worked perfectly for us, it was an EIGHT night cruise, and the price was too good to pass up.

Embarkation went very smoothly. We got on a little later than expected, but were able to sit while we waited. Heading out of Cape Canaveral is great. There's no fighting of traffic like you find in Miami, and the port didn't seem busy and packed like Ft. Lauderdale.

We came on this ship several years back when it was the Destiny. This trip was far better than the Destiny experience. The updates on the ship are very nice. I did notice, however, that the walkways on the Lido deck were fairly tight. Our kids really enjoyed the sports deck. There's a lot packed into a small space, and they especially liked the ropes course. Wear tennis shoes if walking around there, because some water leaks from the slides above and it gets slippery. Hot tubs get crowded, and there is only one pool. I wasn't interested in swimming or hot tubbing on this trip. The ship was very clean all throughout. It was hard to find clocks. The smoking area was no fun to walk through, and the casino has smoking. There is laundry on each floor. It's $3 for wash and $3 for dry. The driers could use updating, because they didn't dry in one run. However, the guest services did refund my money, which I appreciated.Bring detergent and you don't have to buy it. Read more
