We have traveled with Celebrity many times before, but the quality of services for this cruise was disappointing.

Most notably, the air connections and transfers that were planned in our Celebrity cruise package through Celebrity's Choice Air program were not reliable at all. Our flight to Shanghai was delayed 8 hours, and we arrived exhausted. Then, going home, we learned that our connecting flight was non-existent when we arrived at the airport, even though we had booked it through Celebrity's Choice Air program (and we had a confirmation number) well in advance. As a result, we were left stranded at the airport going home! We used our cell phones to contact Celebrity, but it took a lot of effort and assistance from airport staff to get them to find us an alternative flight home. This is unacceptable!

Guest Services on the ship was not very helpful with our concerns while onboard. We had booked a transfer to the airport well in advance, but when we checked the time of the transfer, we found that Guest Services had it wrong, and had arranged for a time that was past the time of our flight. We tried to correct this with the Guest Services staff, but the transfer to the airport never materialized, even though we had paid for it, and Guest Services staff just told us to book a cab on our own.This is not acceptable (still waiting to see if we get a refund since we had to pay for a cab even though we paid for a transfer in advance).
