When boarding this ship, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. My cabin was cozy and the bathroom was much larger than what I'm use to. However, I was disappointed to learn the ship was more over crowded than I hoped... and that is coming from a guy who cruised RCL Oasis of the Seas! In addition to size, the kids took over the ship on my itinerary and curfews or adult only sections were not enforced. Hot tubs became kiddie pools 24/7.

I was disappointed I never got to see the ship's production show or adult comedy show. These require reservations that were completely booked the entire cruise... defeating the purpose of "freestyle crusing." This brings me to the ship's design as the theater only set 1k people with a ship with almost 5k passengers. The "atrium" or center point of the ship was used as a stage for popular showes like Battle of the Sexs or NotSo Newlyweds. Try squeezing 5k passengers in the same space with guest services and excursion counter... so hard to speak over the loud noise. Good luck finding a spot to sunbath. Room was nice but the jointed beds still had an annoying gap in the middle. Wish they used a mattress topper.

Kids ran all over the ship. Adult only sections did not exist. This was definitely an unsupervised family cruise.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IX

Great ambience and color. Bathroom was bigger than what I'm used to on cruises. Comfortable bed with a slight firmness but not too hard. Shower worked well and can fit two small adults. Inside cabin could have used a chair and a mattress topper to close the gap between the beds.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Beautiful island upon arrival. Beach type destination. I took the tram to the hillside and set at the bar to enjoy the views. Not overcrowded.

Tortola

Not much to do here. It is next door to St. Thomas and look like the lesser version of St. Thomas. Another beach spot.

Nassau

Oh Nassau... if you can't afford Atlantis Resort and Waterpark... you stuck with more beaches. The locals will pressure you, but keep moving. It is all made in China. Junakoo Beach is free and walking distance. Drink and use this place as your beach break.
