My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (4th with Norwegian) I must say that I was very disappointed in this one. Embarkation too a LONG time. There were very long lines and they didn't have enough people to check everyone in. We had a mid ship balcony cabin (1072). The cabin I must say was very nice and very well maintained. The shower was a good size with great water pressure. The only thing I didn't care for about the room was the toilet (I'm 6'3 if you're 5'2" you'll love it). The ship itself also very nice. Very well maintained and clean. Lots of nice features and artwork throughout. The entertainment was very good! We weren't disappointed at any show we went to.

Now for the not so good. The food in the garden cafe was forgettable. The food had no flavor (lack of seasoning). We dined in both main dining rooms and were very disappointed in the service (slow and inconsistent). The waiters really didn't seem to care much about doing their job. They weren't rude...just kinda there. What's really shocking about the poor service is that they had a LOT of people working...but they all seemed to just be trying to find something to do to stay busy. The Service in the Stardust theater was the worst. They literally only had about two servers for the whole area! But yet they were servers in other areas pretty much trying to find things to do. Even a lot of the people that were supposedly in charge we're pretty much just standing around talking or doing nothing. We dined at Cagneys one evening. As the young lady was checking us in she received a phone call from a guest. She rudely said there was a long line and hung up the phone. Not only was it not a long line but we were the only one standing there. Even worse than that the restaurant was at best half full. So not only are they losing money because the restaurant is at four but the rude person this at the front desk was chasing away prospective customers.

There were some bright spots though it's for service. Our waiter and the Brazilian restaurant was the best. I don't remember his name but I remember he was from India. Very hard worker with a great attitude. Also the young lady from Macedonia working the bar on the aft deck by the garden café. She did a awesome job and had a great attitude. Let me also mention the head waiter at the Moderno restaurant he was also great. But outside of this our service was very forgettable. One other thing that we didn't care for was that there unlimited drink package ( which is one of the most expensive of any cruise line that we saw) didn't even offer a bottled water or lattes. We had an enjoyable time as far as time spent together… But I don't think I will be booking with Norwegian again anytime soon.

The cabin is self was very nice. Our room seven was not very good though. We kept having to ask him numerous times for things we wanted and needed. He wasn't rude or have a bad attitude he just wasn't very good at his job.
