Having only sailed P&O we were excited to see a cheap deal that was difficult to pass up.

We loved that Carnival had luggage helpers curbside, out suitcases were taken straight from the taxi. With the hubby having mobility issues we were able to skip the line and go straight to the assistance desk. While we pre registered you could just walk up, and the staff actively pulled people from the main line who had walking sticks and encouraged them to use the service.

This was great but did contribute to significant waiting to get a "pusher" for the wheelchair. They only had two people doing this which wasn't enough for the demand.

Cabin 8A

We didn't get to choose this cabin and were a little concerned that it was above the main theatre. However we had no reason to worry, we never heard a thing. Nor did we hear the lifts which this cabin is nice and close too.

Overall I would recommend this cabin - it was in a good location, it was quiet and it had a good balcony.
