This cruise was a component of a tour. We enjoyed the dinning, entertainment and shopping. One of the features of this ship was the temperature of the water in the swimming facilities. The performers at the evening entertainment were excellent. The Cruise Director had a very heavy British accent and did not present the best image for Royal Caribbean.. The size of the ship was excellent for our style of cruising. Larger ships do offer more features, but log journeys between activities can be a distraction. The shore experiences were much as we anticipated and provided a break from daily activities. We did not take advantage of many of the on shore activities due to physical limitations. The embarkation and debarkation procedures were excellent and very efficient. The food served was excellent in quality, service and selection. We are principally in the dinning room, however we did eat at least one meal a day in the cafeteria setting and the quality, selection and presentation were excellent.
The cabin layout was adequate. the wardrobs dors and the bath room doors conflicted whith each other. Upon arrival the cabin was not cleaned properly. there was food and soil in many places. The stateroom attendant assigned to our room was not the person who prepared the room. The attendandant rectified the cleanlyness issues, however the person responsible for stateroom readiness had not done their job. It is not up tho the paying customers to discover defincies and demand corrective action.
