Wanted to try Royal Caribbean to compare it to Carnival. There were things we liked better about both cruise lines. We loved the layout of the Brilliance and it's a beautiful ship for it's age. We liked the shows on Brilliance better than Fascination. There were somethings about the dining on the Fascination that we liked better than Brilliance but the service and food was good on both. The photography on Carnival was a lot better than on Royal. We were very disappointed with the quality of the pictures on the Brilliance. The service through out the ship was great on both cruise lines. We loved the ports of call to the Western Caribbean better than the Bahamas. We booked our own excursions by looking at trip adviser and was not disappointed. We did stingray city and snorkeling at Grand Cayman and a private Jeep tour at Cozumel. We would love to do this cruise again sometime.
