Everything (ship, staff, food, itinerary) was fantastic, just as we've come to expect from Oceania, except for their tour management.
The tour write-ups posted on-line based on which we made tour reservations were frequently very different from the description provided in the blue book and onboard and from the contents of the actual tour. We showed one guide what had been posted and he said "we've never done that". Apparently Oceania never had the posted write-ups reviewed or approved by the end vendor and does not hold them to these descriptions.
Several tours were canceled last minute "Due to low participation". OK, they couldn't fill the bus (or boat, or whatever). But to cancel the tour I contracted with them months before at the last minute left me with the option of booking a tour I was not interested in or, possibly, a good one with a much higher cost. They make enough on these tours to subsidize the vendor and run the tour even with a half empty bus. And if they can't do that, they should discount my purchase of any alternative I select - they broke the contract and they expect me to suffer the consequences.
Cabin was spotless and comfortable.
