My wife and I needed a small break away so decided to try a 3 day cruise. This would be our second cruise that we have ever done. Our first was on Carnival Spirit and we loved it.
After reading some of the reviews about the Pacific Jewel we were a little apprehensive about going. But like our previous cruise we arrived to board the boat with no expectations. Which I may add, all cruise goers should do, after all you are taking yourself on a holiday or break away from things so why drag along any issues or expectations.
Boarding was a breeze. As it was only a 3 night cruise we were only to remain in Australian waters so only had to show some form of photo ID.
Cabin Review
We stayed in an Ocean view room on the 9th floor. The room is small and can be set as a bunk room and adjoining room. However as it was just my wife and I it was set as a queen bed. Very comfortable. Slept like a baby all nights. Lets face it, you only need to sleep in your room on a small cruise.
