We were on the Seven Shores cruise with Thomson and I truly enjoyed our experience. We were in a small inside cabin with four people (2 adults and 2 children) but the layout and storage options never made me feel crammed. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. We mainly visited the Islands buffet for meals since the food was good and I couldn't get enough of the tiny desserts. I appreciated that you weren't expected to participate in the dress to impress nights nor did you have to dress for the more formal dining rooms - although those passengers looked lovely and it made me wish I had. For entertainment on the ship we didn't attend any of the shows but we took advantage of the pools, spa, mini-golf, climbing wall, and running track. It would be nice if the gym were open more hours but since they are situated above cabins there is a limited time where you can go there. One day we used the afternoon session of the kids' club so that we could try the escape room. An absolute blast and I'd recommend this to all future passengers!

Our vacation was delightful up until our dolphin & whale watching excursion on St. Vincent. We were among the tourists, including children, that witnessed the killing of an Orca on March 30th. You don't recover from that. Upon return Thomson refunded all of the passengers and communicated with them on how the shore partner was working with the government to provide them with the video and details about the horrific day. Thomson also immediately canceled any future whale tours for that island. I believe their actions are part of what is contributing to the nation introducing legislation to stop whaling. I'd like them and all tourists to take it one step farther and stop using St. Vincent as one of their ports until the laws are changed - but I do believe Thomson's quick action has made St. Vincent evaluate their practices.
