This was my 3rd cruise with Carnival, and my first time on the Sunshine. I really like the "updated" decor of the ship, and the main area near the Alchemy bar. The ship was mostly kept really clean which is a big plus. The serenity decks were also nice. The service was below par when compared to my other cruises with Carnival. It almost felt like the majority of the people were being trained, or had been on the ship too long and could care less if you were enjoying your cruise. The Cruise director projected that feeling of I can't wait until I'm off this ship, so I guess it trickles down. I was really disappointed with the lobby bar and the Alchemy bar because those spaces were my favorites in the past. One bartender at the lobby bar made me feel so uncomfortable I rarely visited that area. Overall I wasn't disappointed with the ship, but give it an average rating because of the service. The Sunshine will be placed low on my list of ships to travel on again.

With all of that said I did meet some great people (both Fellow cruisers & Staff), and was traveling with friends. The vacation itself was a good time! I learned to really like Grand Turk by just walking down the beach instead of going directly into the cruise port area. Spent lots of time with my cruise friends, and I was on a cruise! So you can't complain too much about that!
