We selected this cruise because of the itinerary as well as we had been wanting to try a Royal Caribbean cruise. The itinerary did not disappoint. Royal Caribbean on the other hand did. We were wanting to make this cruise a little more special and had booked a Guaranteed Suite. Just three days prior to the cruise we were informed that there were no suites available and we would be in a Quality Balcony. We were refunded some of our cruise fare and given on board credit for this but it was obvious that the suites continued to be sold after we booked ours and became overbooked. This was a big disappointment for us. The balcony stateroom was two classed down from what we had wanted. It was very small compared to other balcony staterooms that we have had in the past and it was very close to the front of the ship which made very difficult to use the wifi that we paid for (had to go to the center of the ship to get a consistent signal).

We enjoyed the other aspects of the cruise The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good, not great, but high quality. The itinerary was great! we had five very good ports and only one day at sea. The ship itself was nice. It was smaller than any other ship we had been on but it was nice. At the end of the day, we will have to think very hard before we consider Royal Caribbean again and that is all because of how they handled the booking of our suite.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Very Small balcony stateroom. Also there are only two electrical outlets and they are both at the desk, none by the bed or in the bathroom.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Went to Orient Beach via a taxi. Beautiful beach!
