This ship looked so amazing online. We were excited to go to 3 new ports and had excursions planned at each port. The ship itself is great. It just has about a thousand too many guests onboard. We went to the buffet one time and I didn't go back anymore. The kids didnt mind it at much. But the swarms of people bumping and shoving and just the chaos and noise overall ruined this venue for me. I hated it, and so did mom. The food was fine but I've had better dining experiences at a Steak and Shake. Therefore we sought out other restaurants and thank god for Food Republic. We ate there several times for lunch for about 60 bucks. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. Overall the other restaurants were fairly good with the exception of jimmy buffett margaritaville. This was bad on the one occasion that we went for lunch and we didn't go back. We were there for just under 2 hours and I never did get my fish tacos.

The entertainment on the ship was good and we had something to look forward to almost everyday. We spent a lot of extra time in Atrium because to get seats you just had to hang around an hour before any shows waiting for someone to leave. Bar service in this area was not great and It was much faster to walk to the casino bar to get a drink. There you could actually engage with the bar tender to order a drink the way you wanted it. The upper decks on this ship are not sized appropriately and we were always crowded. We tried to go up to enjoy the air and sun several times but it was not enjoyable. I mean like standing in a spot waiting for the line of people to pass so you could then proceed. The pool is way too small and with even 20 people in it you aren't going to be swimming. We all really missed the upper decks of the Liberty of the Seas and regretted not booking the new oasis... BUT we wanted the balconies. Without them this cruise would have a major disappointment. We ended up doing most of our sunning and reading on them instead of on the upper deck. After doing some research I see that the Liberty of the Seas was almost 30' wider which explains a lot.

Our shore times were all good, but the excursions were obnoxiously over priced and overall very disappointing. Captain Nautica gave us all junk equipment and 45 minutes in two very lame locations, which btw were less than 300 yards apart. I still get a kick out of them telling us about the different species of fish we would see at this "different" location.. that we literally could have swam too. The rest of the island is worth a cab ride to Coki beach to get a great drink and a good view of the island. The sky tram was decent as well. On Tortola we did the Zip lines and while we all 5 had a good time, I think it had a lot to do with the fact that none of us had ever been ziplining. You don't cover any real ground on this "canopy tour" Still the crew were all great and the view at the end of the tour was great. Nassau was a little rough and I with we had went their first instead of last. We did the short Segway because the other one was sold out.... You don't go anywhere except across the street to the beach and back. With several "stops" along the way. BUT we were able to get dropped off at the beach next to the ship and had a great 2 hours on the sand with great bar service the entire time. Overall all the excursions were just way too over priced for what you actually experience. I've spent less in Key West for a much better experience and nothing in Key West gets the "value" stamp.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BE

These cabins are great for a couple. The 3 kids also did fine but it definitely felt a little crowded. It was great to be able to connect our balconies since the rooms were not adjoining. The beds were very comfortable and we had minimal noise issues.
