We haven't cruised on this class of ship for a while and I loved to be back. The Serenade is small enough to get around easily and we love seeing the ocean from the inside areas of the ship.

She does need some touch up here and there but it didn't effect our cruise.

Food is subjective but we certainly didn't go hungry. The offerings in the windjammer for lunch were good and varied. We are in the MDR every night and while not gourmet the food was very good. Service in the MDR was below par,

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Our cabin was very conveinent to the centrum and yet we never heard any noise from it. Do know that at the ports people debarked and embark right directly below you. This did not effect us. I like the extra storage above the TV. On some ships they have done away with this.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Here we took a cab to Dawn beach. The day was windy and the sea is very rough there so while we didn't get into the water we enjoyed the beach and had lunch at Busbys bar. They have $1 beer and the chair rental for 2 was $24. It was a lovely quiet day.
