Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Studio Stateroom

I took this cruise a year ago (2016). I had such a great time I decided take it again. I had a Solo Studio Stateroom, which I love. I had a friend traveling but they had their own Stateroom. I found nothing to complain about. The staff is exceptional. They are caring, respectful, helpful, aware of what is going on, etc. The selection of food is fantastic. The Garden Buffet is one of the best (and I have been on 18 cruises, different cruise lines). This is my 7th cruise on NCL. This ship, The Escape, is just beautiful. I would also like to mention that I feel that Norwegian Caribbean 's ships are the most well kept. cleanliness is a priority with NCL. I loved the entertainment, the casino, the lounges, etc. And, as a women traveling solo, I felt a great sense of security on this ship. Nothing to complain about. Excursions: Depending on your interest, you have many choices. I would recommend the Champagne Catamaran in St. Thomas, that takes you to St. John. Great crew a lot of laugh's and fun.

Studio Stateroom

Cabin T1

As a Solo Traveler you do not need more space. You have your own shower, bathroom, large screen TV, plenty of storage space. Suitcases (2) can go under the full size bed.

Bed is very (above average) comfortable. State Of The Art Lighting (Mood).

Port Reviews

Nassau

I did not take an excursion because I have been to Nassau so many times. I did go to Atlantis, toured the market and went to the Casino. When I was in Nassau last year, I book the Blue Lagoon Beach Break Excursion. That is really nice.....and food is included. Had a great time on the beach. Food was really excellent.

Tortola

I did not take an excursion this time. Spent the time in the port shopping. However, when I took this cruise last spring, I did go to the Virgin Gordo Baths. This is not a leisurely excursion. A great deal of walking among boulders down a long path to the beach then swimming in the caves, then having to walk up the mountain. Just check it out before booking it.
