We found our experience to be a disappointment. Holland America has always been our first choice to cruise. We have tried other lines but always return to HA for the traditions, excellent staff, calm upscale environment.
Lots of HA traditions have been eliminated on the Koningsdam.
No library. [much cause of disappointment and disbelief]

Cabin was functional but seemed to have less storage space than normal. Veranda was wonderful. Bigger than upper decks and very private. The HA perk of having a bathtub has been eliminated. Our bed vibrated like a cheap hotel chain bed with a quarter machine for a massage. Something is wrong with the engine thrust.
