Service on the ship was very good but did not warrant any more tip than we already paid. Although there were more than 6,000 people on the ship, the only time you noticed was during embarkation!

Dining experience: We had My Time Dining at the American Icon. It really helped to have a reservation (we were a group of 8).

Wine correction: We bought a bottle of #208 (Selbach-Oster German Riesling) and when we got our bill, the price was incorrect. (It was $35 and it came up as $48). We talked to our waiter, and he corrected it. However, when we went to order the same one the following night, it was the same incorrect cost and hadn’t been fixed in the system despite the price being incorrect. We thought this should have been fixed so people didn’t overpay. Make sure that you look at what you’re signing for if you’re not on a beverage package.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D6

We really liked our room. Everything was compact (of course) but well thought out. We liked that it was near the elevators and near the front of the ship. We also liked the 11th floor. Our room attendant was excellent. He was very personable and friendly. The room right next to us had unsupervised teenagers. Their parents’ room was elsewhere. This should NOT BE ALLOWED. These children were left unsupervised and were slamming doors all the time, running down the hallway and knocking on people’s doors. Not cool.
