Well, what can I say, chose Norwegian again as we had a wonderful time on Norwegian Epic last year. I suppose we had been spoilt because compared to The Epic I am afraid the Spirit looks and feels a bit tired and dated. Obviously it is a smaller ship but apparently it is one of the oldest in the Norwegian fleet and could do with a complete refit.

Don't get me wrong, we had a great cruise and the staff , as always were excellent. They were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you. But if you are looking for plush, look elsewhere. Apart from the Atrium which was magnificent everywhere else could do with a lick of paint and some repairs and so it proved as during the cruise there were areas of the ship that were off limits whilst painting etc was carried out.

We had a balcony cabin which could apparently hold three. That would have been impossible as it was barely large enough to hold my wife and I. We brought less luggage than usual and had trouble storing it.

Cabin Review

Cabin BA

Bathroom in need of renovation, very tired looking tiles etc.
