The Epic is quite a unique ship. My wife and I loved the freedom to dine anytime and had lots of options which is standard for Norwegian. We have only cruised on Carnival previously so that was a huge upgrade for us. The staff was always happy and nice and ready to help out with any questions we had. The cruise director "Scott" was always energetic and kept everyone excited about the cruise, whether it was a dance party or introducing one of the shows. He was also waiting at the dock and greeted everyone when we returned from our excursions. We booked an inside cabin and although it was small, it had all we needed. The split bathroom was actually innovative, so my wife and I could use both the toilet and the shower at the same time without being in each others space. Some people think that is weird, but I actually appreciated it. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway, when you are on a cruise get out and enjoy the sun and fun! Epic has 4 slides and is great for kids or adults. There is also an adults only pool area at the aft of the ship which was huge (the pool area was huge, not the pool) with a huge TV screen for movies or music videos. We would definitely cruise on the Epic again. It was refurbished in 2015 even though it was built in 2010 and everything still looked new and clean.
