Chose it because it sailed Sunday to Sunday. This ship is designed well with most of the cabins on one end and entertainment towards the front.
Our cabin was on the 9th deck, balcony , enough closet and storage. Bed comfortable furnishings were functional, a little small.
Lots of fun entertainment, games, bands and shows..
ok
We took a cab into town, next time take the bus. walked around the Malecon (long board walk and shopped.
7 of us took a van to see the cliff divers, then on to a resort beach. We rented 2 umbrellas , 7 chairs from the vendors $15.00. They set them up in front of a resort hotel that let my family use the pools , bathrooms and even gave us towels. Most in our group went parasailing for $25.00 a piece. Great fun.
Cab rides for 7 people about $10.00
After you get there you can get a glass bottom boat for about $30 for 7 people and see lands in, etc. Good deal. It was too cold to snorkel. Remember to negotiate everywhere.
