It wasn't my first cruise, not even my first with Royal Caribbean ... and I wasn't disappointed. The cabin was just as expected and the steward was wonderful. He was pleasant & helpful at every encounter.

The ship itself was delightful, with a nice variety of events and activities to keep me entertained. There was also plenty of opportunity to indulge in any number of dining pleasures, The Windjammer buffet provided for most of my breakfast needs & desires. I also enjoyed savoring new dishes and old favorites in the dining room (shrimp cocktail, lobster, baked Alaska & a marvelous chilled roasted peach soup, just to name a few!). Johnny Rockets provided a couple of tasty burgers and an endless supply of onion rings & fries (along with plenty of ketchup & ranch for dipping) ... as well as an entertaining dance routine by the staff. Sorrentos was better than expected & fulfilled a late night desire for some traditional pizza.

I was very pleased with the excursions I selected (a turtle encounter & an ATV ride through the jungle along with a dip in the refreshing water at Jade Cavern) ... and entertainment aboard the ship was equally enjoyable (particularly the magic & ice skating shows). Having indulged in swimming in the pool and relaxing in the cantilevered hot tubs, I am happy to report that the hot tubs were kept warmer than anticipated, providing a welcome relief to my (post ATV ride) incredibly aching muscles.
