This cruise was chosen because of the ports of cal -. Caribbean, Panama Canal, Easter Island and Tahiti. It met my expectations. Great service, entertainment, lectures and tours.

The meals were a good portion size, varied and not too large. The visiting entertainers and lecturers were first rate and the Black Watch entertainers were very enthusiastic. The band at times was too loud. Optional daily things to do were many and so many choices. The crew were a delight and nothing was too much trouble. Shore excursions catered for every interest and were well organised. The person giving the port talks was very informative and certainly knew his stuff.

What makes Fred Olsen stand out from the crowd is the service, the meals, the many and varied ports and the feel that you are really sailing on a real ship. They may be older vessels but they have the feel of the grand old days of maritime travel. Having sailed with a number of shipping lines over many years I keep coming back to Fred Olsen.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Light airy and lovely shades of aqua curtains, sofa, chairs and throw.. Spacious with sofa and two chairs, coffee table and of course a desk..

Plenty of storage and cases fitted under the bed. More than enough hangers.

Fridge, safe and flat screen TV which was not always working. This was being addressed and FO did refund a daily amount to make up for the inconvenience caused by the TV problem.

New linens, good size towels and a very comfortable cabin.
