Great Cruise. Too much upsell and a stubborn front desk person.

We are loyal Princess Platinum members. We haven't been to Mexico since 2009 so decided to go from our Southern Oregon home to find the sun during spring break.

Embarkation: Good but not great. Took us about an hour even with priority boarding. We watched one elderly gentleman who had been anxiously pacing around the waiting area finally go to the wheelchair area and sit down in a chair only to be wheeled on board right away before any of the rest of us. We saw him later on the cruise several times walking around! Lol!

Sea Days South: We had an obstructed view window cabin on Emerald deck and lucked out as we had no obstruction to speak of. I've never seen the weather so nice as it was these two days on our way to Puerta Vallarta. We discovered Los Brilliantes band. They played throughout the cruise and took requests. They were awesome, even doing some Carlos Santana! We ate in Horizon court, choosing to put on a vinyl glove for the serving line as we were both victims of Norovirus on our last cruise and have seen what people do in the serving area!

Nice enough. New beds are great! Nice window view with no obstruction even though we paid a reduced rate expecting an obstructed view. Lots of squeaks and squaks in door and wall frame last rough sea day, that kept my wife awake.
