Who We Are:

Twelve of us sailed on the Norwegian Getaway from March 26th through April 2nd. The trip was to celebrate my father's upcoming retirement. Sailing on the trip was:

My Family: DH and I are regular Norwegian cruisers, having sailed on the Pearl, the Dawn, the Sun, and the Pride of America for a total of 6 cruises. We also sailed on Carnival Dream a few years back. Joining us were our two sons; DS7 who sailed on the Carnival Dream with us back when he was 18 months old and DS3 who was on his first ever cruise.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Good sized cabin with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The bathroom was great with storage. The balcony was narrow but not bad. The only negative was that our balcony was over the Sunset bar which is the only outdoor bar that allows smoking. This resulted in a smoky smell and loud crowds late into the night. Thankfully we couldn't hear or smell anything in our room but sitting on the balcony at night was as nice as it could have been.
