Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

I will never again choose to sail on a "mega" ship. There were way too many people for my taste. The (excellent) entertainment in the common areas was difficult to enjoy due to a lack of space for the number of people attending. It was difficult to find seating in the cafe during peak hours and the food was primarily geared to the young with not much selection for adults. The cabins and balconies have been sized down dramatically. The pricing on the a la carte activities has increased (bingo, etc) and the "free" ones were too crowded to enjoy. The seats in the theatre are extremely uncomfortable.

That said; the staff was wonderful, the ship was clean and tastefully decorated, the embarkation/disembarkation was smooth and well organized. NCL is still my favorite cruise line of the ones I have experienced (Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess) in terms of friendliness and knowledge of staff, organization of shore excursions and embarkation/disembarkation, logistics of storage for personal belongings in cabins, and quality and variety of entertainment in common areas.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

To accommodate the vast number of people, the room size has been severely cut, as has been the size of the balcony. As always, NCL makes the best use of the space available for storage and the beds and bedding are high quality

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

Port is very disorganized in terms of pick up/drop off for passengers. Hard to believe they have been doing this for years

Great Stirrup Cay

I am not a beach person. Nothing else to do here.
