Our service was incredible! Pira(spelling?), our cabin steward was wonderful and met our every need. Renato and Erdie, our wait staff at dinner were hard-working, charming, efficient and had a sense of ESP when it came to knowing what we needed or wanted next. They became like family to all of us in our dining area.

Our balcony cabin was great...the only way to cruise! The food was excellent, but the Steakhouse was beyond superlatives. Best steaks we have ever eaten! And, the service, again, was remarkable. The entertainment was mostly mediocre...except for one band that plated in the Ocean Plaza on Saturday night...wow...amazing pipes on that singer! The spa and workout facilities were top-notch. We payed a bit extra to use the exclusive "steam rooms plus", which unfortunately suffered from continuing mechanical problems. But, the spa did credit us $70 for our convenience...kudos to them!

2 complaints to discuss. One being the casino...it covered the width of the 5th deck. There was no way to get from the atrium to the back of the ship without traipising through the casino, which was filled with cigarette smoke 24 hours a day. Being one who suffers from asthma I was quite appalled by this. It's the 21st century...please treat cigarette smokers like the pariahs that they are! (Personal opinion) In this day and age it is unacceptable and irresponsible to make someone walk through a cigarette-smoke-zone without allowing an alternative route.
