I started cruising at a young age. I worked as a deckhand on the MS Starward and the MS Nordic Prince. I have cruised before on Norwegian, RCCL and Carnival. This was my first cruise with Princess on the Sapphire Princess.

My family, wife and three kids, 19, 17 and 12 had two cabins. We flew into Seattle and took the Amtrak into Vancouver. This was great as we had business class and had a great time on the train. Spent two nights at the Westin Bayside and found the hotel and Vancouver to be such a great place. We did the suspension bridge, Stanley park and made our way around the city using public transportation and loved it.

The Sapphire Princess is an excellent ship. Some of the highlights include my cabin, up front with a balcony, wow was that great. The food was terrific. The food they give you in the Horizon deck was also very good. The pools and hot tubs were great. Heated and with fresh water, we used them everyday we could. The views from the hot tub in the back is great. I also enjoyed the many bars and places to have drinks. I found the bar service to be first rate for the most part. That was very nice.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

I had a balcony on front of the ship. It was so nice to see where the ship was going and I could see out to both sides of the ship. Wow this was such a great balcony. Many had said we would have alot of wind, we had no such issues.
