Cabin: Neptune Deluxe Verandah Suite
This was the third cruise with HAL. Visiting the Panama Canal was on the bucket list. Several aspects of the latest cruise deserve some remarks. The food selection has gotten smaller compared to earlier cruises. The main dining service was dismal. An hour and a half for a three-course meal is too long. The food selection in the Lido also has been reduced over previous experience on the Eurodam.
The entertainment was mediocre at best. The Zuiderdam shows its age.
Maintenance seems to suffer. Light fixtures had missing bulbs. The toilet stopped flushing in the middle of the night.
