We had a wonderful time on this cruise with stops at Labadee, San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Kitts. Beautiful ship! The Royal Promenade was very classy with shops, coffee shop, Sorrentos pizza and more. Sports activities on the upper deck including the rock climbing wall, flow rider, volleyball court and mini-golf were well used, especially by teenagers. There was also an arcade and a Johnny Rockets. The pool area had plenty of deck chairs and a fun children's area, as well as ice cream machines.

Cruise director Michele and his staff made everything fun and worked hard to make a good experience for all. The Quest Game, Love and Marriage Show and Battle of the Sexes were especially good. We also enjoyed the Dancing in the Streets party. The ice show was a highlight of entertainment. All of the main shows in the Arcadia theater were very good. The singing and dancing contests were another enjoyable time that made us laugh. Meet and greet photo opportunities with the Dreamworks characters also occurred at various times.

Our stateroom attendant, Pedro, greeted us each day with a friendly hello and always asked how we were enjoying the cruise and if he could do anything for us. The dining room waiters --June and Ruel--gave excellent service and were also very attentive. The food was very good with a nice variety of choices. Prime Rib and Lobster on one of the formal nights was awesome.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

The room was clean with plenty of storage. Stateroom attendant Pedro was wonderful--very attentive, professional, and friendly. it was nice to have two sets of drawers at the desk/vanity area as well as 2 nightstands with a desk. Shelves were enclosed by a door in both the cabin and bathroom to keep things safe from falling. We especially liked the shower head that could be removed from its fixed position and used as hand held. There is also a safe in the room and plenty of closet space and hangers.

Port Reviews

Labadee

We did the Dragon's Breath Zipline for an activity. The people who ran the activity were all very helpful and professional from start to finish. The practice zipline gave a good opportunity to test our understanding of the instructions and allay any fears of doing the big one. The view from the top of the Dragon's Breath was spectacular. Our time was 11:30, but we would have booked an earlier time had we known that the photo crew stopped taking pictures before then.

San Juan

We had already done the walking tour and visited the forts on previous trips so did not book an excursion this time. We enjoyed walking on our own and shopping. It's a beautiful city.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarking and Disembarking was fast and easy.
