I would agree on the points made by the other reviewers (I enjoyed your review Lyn!) who were on this cruise. Generally we were pleased with NCL as we had booked this cruise on a GTY, so our upfront spend was substantially less then other cruises. We did not know what cabin category we would receive, so were very happy to find we had been allocated a balcony room.

We found the staff to be polite and professional, the food very good, and the ports of call were nice. Housekeeping was more basic than we have experienced with other cruises, but they did seem rather busy.

The production shows were very good, and general entertainment was ok. We headed for the Star bar when we wanted a bit of quiet to play cards. We found the bar staff in the Casino to be the most friendly (this was also the bar in which smoking is allowed). We avoided the Spinnaker lounge Butlins-style entertainment.
