First cruise on Royal Caribbean. Choose this due to it being rated well above others for families. A lot of variety but scheduling could have been a bit better. Many kids events overlapped and then alternately many hours had no kids events scheduled. Service was AWESOME!! Ship was well maintained and amenities were very nice. Although this ship had 4500 people on it you never felt crowded even on at sea days. Pool could get a bit busy on those days especially around the main pool with the TV but people moved in and out and lounge chairs could be found within a couple minutes. Food was great as well. Lots of variety and dining times were very flexible. Overall we had a great experience the staff was always very upbeat and friendly. There was always someone available to help you and you never wait for anything. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Definitely would consider Royal Caribbean for our next family cruise.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Favorite part of cabin was HENRY our suite attendant. He was AMAZING!! Room was also terrific. Plenty of room for a family to all being there together getting ready an enjoying some relaxing time on the balcony. Would definity get a suite on next cruise. Amenities that you have access to when in a suite are a definite plus! Access to reserved seats for shows. Expedited boarding and disbarkment. Private lounge and personal concierge.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We did not do anything other then board and disembark at this location but it was easy access from the airport which was a plus.

Cozumel

Port was nice. Easy to get to town. Lots to do and nice to not rush with the whole day at that port.

Costa Maya

Port was basically a shopping mall with all the same things seen in Cozumel but no authentic Mexico mixed in. Only off boat for a 2 hours as shop peope wear very pushy and it was bothersome to be honest. Upside was the ship was quiet so it was a nice lazy day on board.
