We are Elite cruisers on Celebrity but had never been on the Equinox. It turned out to be one of our favorite cruise ships and one of our favorite cruises. We overnighted in Ft Lauderdale and did not arrive at the terminal until 12:30. Embarkation was flawless and we we on the ship in less than 30 minutes.Having been on other Solstice class ships many times previously, nothing stood out initially. The Equinox however is a very well run ship and I give a lot of the credit to the cruise director, John Grantham. He was personable, visible and interactive with everyone. His staff were also very personable and competent.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1B

Cabin 1B

The cabin was clean and functional. We had plenty of room to store our clothes and personal items. This particular cabin was very close to an elevator. Our cabin steward was helpful but not overly attentive. He did what he had to do and if we had a request he promptly complied
