While the restaurants and food were pretty good, the rest of our experience was not. Staff were grumpy most of the time, Charge for things to do on board like art class that was a joke and deal or no deal was just a money making opportunity for Norwegian . We had a Norwegian gift card that we received as a x-mas gift that they would not honor because the person that gave it to us had to fill out paperwork to sign it over to us.... How ridiculous is that? We had two excursions that were cancelled on 2 different islands leaving us high and dry.... Other excursions were booked . The bathroom in the staterooms are awful . They are right next to the bed and the toilet is so load you can here it 2 staterooms away when someone flushes and they are surrounded by glass so there is no privacy . And for such a large ship, the pools are too small. There is separate locations for frozen drinks and regulars drinks and beer so if you want a couple different drinks, you need to go to different locations which is a total waste of time because if you try and get the waiting staff to get you a drink, unless you tip them they don't come back even though we pre-payed all our gratuities. Nichol and dime you for everything ! Not a good experience at all..... I've read some of the other comments here and I agree with most of them with bad experiences. Think twice before booking a cruise on the Epic.
