We had a balcony cabin Aft (back of the boat). The cabin itself was well-maintained. The staff on our floor was excellent and accomodating. The only complaint about the cabin itself is the curtain for the balcony. All night you could hear the hooks that hold it up clacking against one another. Not sure how they could "fix" this issue though as it is a moving ship. We did have a strange Sewage smell the entire time on our cruise though. I have read about this in previous reviews as well.They really should look into how they could fix this.

Very informative! Great history lesson as well as exploring. Our guide was Diana and she was wonderful. Answered every question. Great for kids and adults.. adults got  to learn a bit about the culture and kids loved climbing all over the ruins.

Monkey's and Parrots and beach! This was a history lesson as well as a walk through lush rainforests. We got to get up close to Iguanas, hold a MCaw as well as have a monkey jump on us. Lots of walking so if you have trouble walking this isn't for you. No need to rent a locker if you have smaller bags/drinks. They have a place you can put your belongings before going to see the monkeys. These lockers are not locked so any personal items should be kept on your person or rent a locker. One of the best parts of this excursion was the beach that they have at the park. You can gain access without having to book for more $$ through the cruiseline. You will have time to catch the bus as they come every 30 mins or so. The beach was calm, quiet and you could snorkle the reef. There were people coming up to us trying to sell, but once I told them no a couple of times, they backed off and we were able to enjoy our time. 

Suggestions: 
-bring a small bag so you won't have to rent a locker. Keep cash on your person. 
-Don't book the excursion with beach! The beach if free if you go to the park
-Check out the pool at the park
-snorkle here. The cost is minimal, but so beautiful!
- bring bug spray. They have these tiny black flies that will bite the heck out of you!

We booked the cave tubing with lunch excursion. This was well worth adding the lunch! So yummy! Our guide was Derrick and he was very informative and mixed in some humor for us. While the ride is long, you get to see all of the country from the upscale North to the low-key South. You pass everything from sqwallor to mansions. Also, your guide will educate you on all of Belize. 

Once at the site you get geared up and have a small 10 minute hike through the rainforest to the cave tubing site. All the tubes are attached and the guide pulls you through the caves. It is magnificent. Dark, but you can see the structures that they myan Indians built within the caves. There are waterfalls as well as crystals. Simply beautiful.

This was just your regular beach. We took a 30 minute catamaran ride over to the private island where they dropped us off with our guide. At the beach you get free rum punch and margaritas as well as free non-alcoholic beverages. The lunch is free, but not great. It was tasteless and poor quality. The beach was just your average white sand beach. They had bouncy things in teh water for the kids. Don't waste your $$ on snorkling here as there is nothing to see. You can rent a paddleboard or Kayak. There are shops but they are super expensive. If we had known, we would not have done this excursion as we did not get to do anything else. This tour left as soon as we got off the boat and ended with us having to run to catch the ship for the ride out. Check the times you will be in port and the length of the excursion before you book!

Also, you have to pay if you want to get a good steak in the dining room which I found odd considering every other cruise we have been on has always had great steak options on the main dining menu.Also, the lines for this were monsterous- especially during peak dining times (11:30-1 or 5:00-7)

The smokehouse food was AMAZING though I didn't get to try it until our last sea day due to it being located on deck 5- far away from all of the other dining options on deck 10.
