We got on the boat about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Everything went smoothly. They were well organize at the terminal and efficient. When we got on teh ship, our room was ready so we were able to put our carry-on items away before venturing out to find something to eat. We found the buffet (Lido) and were able to get in a couple of bites. By that time, the food was picked over and we had very little options. The other food options which were Pizza and Guys Burger Joynt were open, however they always had very long lines. I would say the reason for this is because the Lido food was very sub-par. It was edible, but hardly enjoyable.
Guys Burger Joynt was delicious, but be prepared to wait a while in line for the food. It is also greasy, but what good burger isn't?
The pizza was ok. It was made on more of a flat bread and they didn't put many toppings on it so it was quite bland. Also, the lines for this were monsterous- especially during peak dining times (11:30-1 or 5:00-7)
We had a balcony cabin Aft (back of the boat). The cabin itself was well-maintained. The staff on our floor was excellent and accomodating. The only complaint about the cabin itself is the curtain for the balcony. All night you could hear the hooks that hold it up clacking against one another. Not sure how they could "fix" this issue though as it is a moving ship. We did have a strange Sewage smell the entire time on our cruise though. I have read about this in previous reviews as well. They really should look into how they could fix this.
