We arrived in Sydney three nights prior. Stayed at the Amora Jamison. 10 min. walk to Circular Quay. Very nice, clean, large room. Would highly recommend. Took Blue Mtn. tour by Anderson Tours while in Sydney. Small van, good guide, really enjoyed the day. Also took the fast ferry to Manly beach. Would recommend both outings if you have time.

This was our fifth celebrity cruise, but first on Solstice class. CC room 1132 was in a great location, quiet, yet close to elevators and stairs. Room was nice, especially bathroom. Only complaint would be the wardrobe. Tight quarters behind sofa and smaller than millennium class. We had an excellent room steward--Enrico--who had been with Celebrity over 20 years.

We had select dining. Reservations were made online prior to cruise. We were always seated immediately. Tables ranging from 2-8. They asked what size when arriving at the dining room. We enjoyed dining by ourselves some nights in order to catch the early show and then shared tables other nights to socialize with others. The food in the dining room was good, no complaints there. We mostly ate at the buffet for breakfasts and lunches. Food and variety was good there as well. The Mast grill burgers were very good.

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Good location, nice room, large bathroom with good storage, small wardrobe which was hard to access, great room steward.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

We did our own tours in Sydney. Great town and much to do. Blue Mountains if you have more than two days in Sydney. Manly is a fun place to go. We were able to get opera tickets, so that was amazing, a must do if you can.

Port Douglas, Australia

The island getaway was OK. Snorkeling that day was not the best, but OK. The lunch was good.
