I like Carnival because you have people of all ages. Especially people who like to have fun. This was a graduation cruise for my daughter. We arrived in Miami a day early and had a wonderful enjoyable day. Embarkation at the cruise terminal was easy. The ship is nice, and we especially loved our Premium Vista Balcony room (wrap around balcony at back of ship). This is the only kind of room I will book. I did not find the food on the Glory to be as good as on other Carnival ships I have been on. It did seem to be a little redundant. What I did love, as I do on every Carnival ship, is Guy's Burgers. They are just a must have when you cruise on Carnival.
One thing that did upset me was the level of underage drinking on the ship. Especially the lack of parental supervision. In every port, there were multiple underage children getting back onto the ship intoxicated. That as well as underage kids coming into the 18 plus comedy shows, the Serenity area, etc. Carnival at times seems to turn a blind eye to this. This is something that always bugs me about Carnival, but at the same time it is something I have come to expect.
The crew on the Glory are very personal, and happy to help you in any way.
I will not do any other room on Carnival besides the Premium Vista Balcony. Myself and my daughter are all about the balcony. We love to sit out there and just take in the views and relax. The room size is not the biggest, but that is not an issue to us. We love having the huge wrap around balcony.
Loved it! Spent time in Little Havana, South Beach, Wynwood Walls which has many different types of art.
