Our daughter wanted to go on a cruise and she is in her mid 40's. Our travel agent told us about this cruise and sounded perfect. Lots of stuff for them to do and lots of bars and restaurants for us! I have been on 22 cruises and 280 cruise days and this ship is terrific. I was curious about the mega ships and it was great. There were 6215 people on board and not crowded at all except deck 5 in the evening. Lots of smaller venues - Boleros on 5 with live latin music and drinks, Bow and Stern Pub on 5 with live music, beautiful and classy champagne and martini bar on 5, Rising Tide Bar that goes up an down 3 flights, lots of shops, free pizza, Starbucks on 5 etc, etc, etc. Central Park was to die for on 8. Open air and live trees and plants and live music under the starts. A lot of the speciality restaurants on 8 - two steak, Italian, Vintages bar and tapas, live music, lots of seating inside or outside and quite and beautiful. Also lots of places that are quite for free buffet food. Not just one hugh cafeteria. There was a 2 story disco, comedy club, jazz club, Broadway 2 hr production of Mama Mia!! Diving, ocean show outside and much more. Our Junior Suite was gigantic!!!!! Walk in closet and one wall of shelves. Way too much storage. Very large room and balcony. Embarkation kept us waiting as problem with computer. Getting off was quick. Room Steward, John was great. Main dining room staff was excellent, Food was great. Booked the newest ship white on board. Kids had flow rider, minature gold, rock climbing wall and way more!!!! Truly something for every one. Very large 2 story spa - classy and roomy. Really need to book most meals and shows before you get on the ship.

Port Reviews

Labadee

If you were into water sports or laying out it was pretty. Had shopping. Our daughters did not like the water slide but liked the water tours in other 2 ports.
