We jumped on this cruise when we heard it was going to Cuba - the first of the Norwegian line ships to do so. It was also visiting some Central and South American ports we wanted to visit.
We had already travelled with Oceania before on Marina's sister ship, Riviera, so we knew what to expect and had no difficulty in finding our way around.
The quality of the food was uniformly excellent, though at times it seemed like the service was a bit slower and disorganized. I don't know if this was due to a shortage of crew or the fact that this cruise was overbooked.
Nice room, with bathtub and oversized shower with rainshower fixture. Pillows felt a,bit flat to me, but I could have asked for different pillows, I guess.
Parking in the garage right at the port is expensive, at $20 a day, but very convenient when disembarking.
Beautiful beach, water and an open bar.
Nice beach and pool break.
Fascinating to see the canal in operation. A highlight of our trip.
Beautiful city and overview
