I was very disappointed with Carnival's Triumph.
Our group, the Memory Makers booked 14 cabins. We had preprinted wallet cards that detailed everyone's cabin number and deck location. We were unable to put the printed material to use because the cabin telephones did not work during the entire seven day cruise. We were told on our Saturday debarkation day that the phone were down due to line problems and would be working by Monday. The phones were never repaired and we were not given any explanation as to why.
In my opinion they should have posted Mickey on the side of the ship and sailed off. There were children ranging in age from 8 to 16 years old in the clubs as late as 2:00 a.m. Security did not enforce the teen hours at ended at 12:30 even upon request. There were children at the adult comedy show throwing paper on stage at the comedian. Even when pointed out to security and the cruise director, these children were not removed. There were children sitting at the bars with their parents at 1:00 a.m. and children sitting at slot machines gambling. Carnival did not enforce it's policy again even upon the request of it's adult patrons.
The room keys only worked on occasion, one of our group members sat outside their room for 30 minutes waiting for a steward to arrive to let them into their room even after they had their key card changed twice to correct the problem.
Our group was not made aware of the early debarkation option so we were not afforded the option to book earlier flights.
There was plenty of food, just the same type of food every day. Our group was separated at dinner seating even after we faxed the request in for our seating preference and arrangements months in advance. Our special occasion request was not honored.
I was not pleased with the cruise over all. There was no effort made by carnival to correct any of the problems that there bought to their attention. It seemed the crew had been trained to have an excuse handy for every situation.
