Friday: We arrive at the port at 12:30pm. Getting on the ship was a breeze. Lines were not long and they moved fast. We looked around the ship and got lunch. Our room was tiny! Our suitcases took a while to arrive. We recommend wearing your bathsuits onto the ship if you want to lay by the pool. Friday night we did not receive turn down service (no schedule of events or towel animals).
Saturday: We arrive at Nassau Bahamas. We had planned to go to a beach and relax. Instead it rained non-stop so we did some shopping. They had a festival in the streets so we were able to taste some local cuisine.
Sunday: We arrived at Coco Cay. We laid out until it rained. Lunch was good on the island. The segulls were ruthless and would steal anyones food. We did parasailing which was very relaxing. The iguanas on the island were a neat feature.
Shows: They had a juggler Saturday night that very entertaining. The couples show was funny. The Quest show on Sunday was hilarious. A must do! We did some trivia games on the ship too. Food: We were disappointed that Pizza is not served 24/7 like Carnival cruises. No soft serve icecream at all! :( Also on formal night no lobster dinner. The desserts were not that wonderful since I have been spoiled by the chocolate melting cake on Carnival cruises. The Meet the Captain event was a disappointment since no h'orderves just drinks unlike Carnival where you are served food and drinks. There was no chocolate milk compared to Carnival cruises. The food was good but we liked Carnival's food better.
Service: Everyone was really friendly except for our steward. When we mentioned to him that we had switched dinner times he was very disappointed by that and mentioned that it messed up his schedule. We were shocked by that comment.
Comparison to Carnival: The ports are the same, the shows were comparable to Carnival, the Food was medicore, Service was lacking. Overall they were very similiar but those differences make us choose Carnival for our next trip.
