The cruise was cheap, but not thinking about Spring Break, which makes sense, so they lowered the price to fill the rooms. The bars were way understaffed, it was completely sold out, mainly with spring breakers, and you have only two bartenders for the pool bar? The pool bar was almost always three or four people deep "trying" to get a drink, it was horrid. There are no soda machines, so the drink packages I purchased for my children, were essentially worthless, because they would have to go to a bar (which every bar was packed with drunk spring breakers), and they could not get a soda or specialty drink. I understand spring break, and I don't blame the college kiddos, I blame Royal Caribbean for not having the correct staff, especially the bars, it was ridiculous.
The one activity for children, the rock climbing wall, was closed, and I was told because the generator that was blocking it, was for all the "extra alcohol" they had to bring on board for the cruise. My 9 year old had two choices, one being the activity room (which is way small, and honestly, it was a joke), so sit at the pool with us, and 700 spring breakers. The pool is super small.
The ship wreaked of sewage, like a constant sewage smell, very weird. The ship is small and outdated, and if you plan on working out at all, don't waste your time with this boat, they have a handful of treadmills and no weights. The yoga class was on the dance floor downstairs.
Small ship, outdated, wreaked of sewage, and boring.
Zip Lining was cool, staff and hands were friendly and helpful.
Key West on Saint Patty's Day, what's not to like?
