This was our 5th cruise with Thomson, second on the Dream, and was our best cruise overall. Embarkation was OK, taking about an hour from the airport to getting to the cabin. But at least we didn't have to collect and carry our cases from the airport.

The best bit about the cruise was the excellent entertainment. We loved the shows on the Broadway lounge, and all the groups in the various bars, and we got seats in every venue we went to - and the bar prices were OK.

We enjoined the food on offer, using the buffet restaurants for breakfast and lunch, and the waiter service Orion restaurant for evening meals. The food quality was good, and the service excellent.

Costa Maya

First we walked around the cruise terminal area which was good. Lots going on and a good atmosphere with lots of cruisers off the various ships walking around. Then we got a taxi to Mahahual which cost $5 each way. We just walked on the malecon and the beach which was good.
