I have been on 10 cruises but this was the first for my 11 & 14 year old boys. The ship was great. Lots to do. Very clean. Good variety of food to choose from. We didn't like having to carry around a giant cup for our soda package. Boys ended up not drinking much of them because they refused to carry the cup! AND my cup broke the second day and leaked and the gal told me the other were for sale. I told her I paid almost $400 for my cup with the package.

We had a great cabin but noisy neighbors who had 3 balconies joined. We couldn't enjoy our balcony because of that. The boys loved the activities and the teen club. We found 80% of the staff rude. Our stewardess and dining wait staff were wonderful. The shop workers were nice. The biggest pet peeve was that we spent $1300 for 2 alcohol package and two soda packages and then each time we got a drink they asked for additional tip even though 18% was already added on. If you didn't tip then forget that waiter or bartender to come to you again. We have no problem tipping and actually we tipped our cabin steward the day we got there, then the daily tip and we gave her a tip when we left but when you are already paying 18% asking for an add'l tip on a drink is petty. IF you want to tip someone add'l you should but not when they stick a slip of paper and pen in front of you to do so.

Do not do the Jungle Tubing and beach adventure. Our guide told us that the bus was our personal locker that they would be waiting on us at the bottom of the river. Well everyone left EVERYTHING on the bus only for the bus not to be at the bottom for over an hour. To top that off they went back to the port and picked up another group WITH OUR STUFF IN THE SEATS!!!! We were stuck on a nasty dirty beach with no clothes, shoes, money, phones, sea cards, etc. Unacceptable. Do not take a Bamboo excursions. Food, ship, cleanliness, ports, cabin stewardess were great. Staff for the most part was rude.
