This was my first cruise in USA. I have been in EU on several river and ocean cruises. The ship was huge. Beautiful. Dinner service was Amazing!!!!! But....
Embarkation was a nightmare. Computers failed 1/2 way thru. It would not be as bad, if it was not a business trip with 140 guests from 8 different country's. We where trying to keep our guests together as much as possible, after we cleared security. Lots of them did not speak English, and need it help. Some people at registration understood that, and let me help our guests. But Some told me to go away. Latter when we got on the second floor, and where waiting to be admitted to a ship, I was yield on few times by one of the staff for not sitting in my area and keep wondering. I was trying to find some of our guests that got separated from there group, but she (staff) did not want it to hear it. My daughter who was 20 and prone to panic attacks, arrived to a dock about 30 minuets after us. I could see her from a balcony. Well, she was not able to check in for 2.5 hours, because computer saying that "I, as a primary person, is not checked in". We were trying to tell the security that I was here, on a boat, but the answer is " There is nothing we can do". Finally, when they finished checking her in, my room keys got deactivated. Again, same answer from customer service " There is nothing we can do, you may have to wait until tomorrow to resolve it". Remember,
it was business trip, and I had all the registration packages in my luggage. Ironically, that was a ONLY luggage out of ALL our staff that "Royal Caribbean" lost it doing embarkation. It took them 4 hours to find it. The fact that it was 85lb (and probable no one want it to lift if) had nothing to do with it.
Nice, very clean room. Not very big, but still have a sitting area and little desk to do some work. Pillows a bit to flat by my taste. Could use extra blankets (I like heavy blankets)
