We wanted to sail to Antarctica and to visit Buenos Aires. We've sailed on just about every cruise line, but not on Celebrity--only because we choose our lines by their itineraries. We've sailed on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess and Viking. We've done most of Europe, the Caribbean, China, Japan, Iceland and more. Weve visited New Zealand, the French and Swiss Alps, France, England, Italy, Russia and more on our own. We've enjoyed all of them, but we definitely found this trip one to be one of the best. Yes, the ship is an older one, but it was very comfortable, the food was excellent, the ports were great, and thanks to absolutely incredible weather, the Antarctica was everything we hoped for and more. Plus, and I can't say this enough, the crew was wonderful. With about 2000 passengers and 1000 crew, you know you're going to be well cared for--and we were. Plus, the crew seemed to enjoy the awesome Antarctica sights as much as we did! A lot of them hadn't been there before, or the weather had kept them from getting a good look, but it was fantastic to see many of them hugging the rails in the crew sections to enjoy the sights along with us.

Only complaint--due to some kind of "computer malfunction," we were held up for more than 2 hours trying to get on the ship. Disembarkation was no problem at all.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

The balcony cabins are a bit small but okay for our needs. Wish we had a sofa.
