Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: AquaClass 1

This was our 2nd sailing Silhouette and she is aging well, the ship is still sparkling for the most part. The staff are very friendly and accommodating for such a large ship, everything is always clean including the cabins and public spaces. The entertainment is good, the new stage shows are pretty amazing. The finale show "Life" was beyond expectations and we truly enjoyed it (it is a combo of a concert, dance/vocal performance and acrobatic act). All of the minor acts in the bars, etc are very good as well and the band that plays the main atrium is excellent.

The cabins are still very nice with good sized verandas (Aqua class A1), but the design is starting to show its age a bit. They are still well kept and in very good condition but they arent cutting edge design either. The storage is plenty for 2 adults, the main issue now is there are only 2- electrical outlets at the desk and 1- in the bathroom. These days with phone, tablets, laptops, cameras, etc its just not enough to keep your devices charged for a week+. A nice touch would be more outlets or USB ports built in various areas as well as the ability to stream to your TV or to have TV's with USB ports so you can look at your days pic's or stream a movie.

Dining is true to the Celebrity standard, although this cruise there a couple of sides, etc that were decent only. Overall though the food was excellent. The service in Blu, Tuscan, Sushi on 5, Lawn Club are superb, plenty of high quality food and drink!

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Stayed at the Margaritaville for 2 days, not cheap but a superb hotel. Love Ft Lauderdale, great place to be, the boardwalk is great and so are the beaches and bars.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We then went to Tiki Beach which was a nice place with a good buffet style lunch, and the drinks were good too.
